A specialised surface active agent for cleaning/decontaminating materials that may be corroded, etched, discoloured or weakened by acidic or alkaline cleaning agents.

Supplied as a viscous liquid concentrate.

Formulation

A precise blend of highest quality anionic and non-ionic surface active agents in an aqueous polyhydric alcohol base.

Near neutral (pH 7+/-) concentrate.

Does NOT contain phosphates, enzymes, EDTA/NTA or chlorine bleaches.

Applications

Ideal for cleaning and decontaminating all non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, zinc, copper, silver, brass etc., 'soft' or coated glass and other sensitive materials which should not be cleaned with acidic or alkaline cleaning agents.

Not suitable for domestic use.

Method of Use

Prepare a 1% to 3% solution of Neutrad with water†.

Fully immerse the items to be cleaned and soak for 2 to 24 hours, depending on the degree and tenacity of the soiling.

Problem contaminants can be treated by increasing the solution strength.

Cleaning time can be reduced by heating the solution (40°C to 50°C) or using in an ultrasonic cleaning bath.

The cleaned items must be rinsed thoroughly as soon as they are removed from the cleaning solution, and dried. We recommend three agitated rinses in water† to ensure removal of all traces of contaminant and cleaning agent.
